Preferred Credentials: Bachelors Degree, Degree in Early or Elementary Education (K-5)

If you are an educator looking to make a difference in a fun impactful environment this is the right fit for you! - Job Responsibilities: - · Facilitate classes daily with students at different levels of learning abilities. - - Be open to learning the project based learning method of teaching and implementing that in the classroom. - · Create, write, and teach lesson plans that are skill level appropriate, - · Ability to maintain confidentiality; set priorities; meet deadlines and schedules. - · Ability to set high expectations for self and students and monitor progress toward goals. - · Utilize and offer effective feedback to continuously improve. - · Meet with students and/or parents as needed. - · Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. - · Instruct through group meetings and discussions. - · Prepare, administer, and evaluate students' progress. - · Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate these objectives to students. - · Create a safe and enjoyable educational environment that encompasses project-based learning. - - use Conscious Discipline techniques for encouraging the social emotional development of children that builds a healthy, safe loving school environment. - · Employs a variety of questioning techniques that enhances critical thinking. - · Manage classrooms effectively so that children feel loved, safe and want to learn. - · Collaborate and coordinate with school administrators to initiate school policy and procedures. - · Stay current with state and local standards. - · Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations. - · Work onsite daily, with students. - · Participate in school identified professional development program. - · Communicate effectively with assigned classroom support staff to guide work with students. - · Meet one-on-one with students to improve performance and address behavioral issues. - · Plan and implement lessons that use computers and multimedia technology. - - learn and teach STEM programs and curriculum. - · Use assessment data to plan and deliver instruction. - · Work with school team to develop and implement school vision and goals. - · Duties outside the classroom which may include lunchroom, dismissal, field trips, hallway.
