Enrollment at Mighty Oak Academy
Mighty Oak Academy is a private community school serving grades K – 10 in the west end of Louisville Kentucky. Mighty Oak Academy is focused on building life-long learners. Our enrollment process covers both academic and social emotional skills designed to help us understand each student and place them in the best possible classes for them. Students need to live west of 9th street and north of Algonquin parkway in Louisville KY in order to qualify for enrollment.
Admissions Interviews
We have a two-interview process for all new students. Interviews are intentionally scheduled on different days to allow staff, student, and family time to process information. The interviews will cover academic skills as well as social emotional skills and developmental milestones. A student cannot “fail” an interview. These are simply meant to understand the student more for the purposes of classroom fit and resources available at MOA. Once both interviews are complete staff will meet to make an admissions decision and the parent will be notified of the decision by phone.
Tuition Assistance
With a very low monthly tuition rate at Mighty Oak, we have limited tuition assistance available however we want to work with our families because we don’t want tuition to be a barrier to attending Mighty Oak Academy. If $75 a month per student is a financial hardship for your family, please bring it up during your admissions interviews so that we can develop a plan that is tailored for your family’s needs and goals.
